It feels like I am still new to the veil.
Family is family

So, I got a call from my sister, Mom and brother! I was so happy! That made my birthday complete! Well, in the morning, I received a text from my sister. I really thought that she will not give me a call anymore. But just a while ago, I heard her voice from the other line. Family is really family.

Protect my body from the cold weather

Wow! I did not know that there is such thing as heated gloves! What an innovation! Yes, I am amazed! Well, it is quite chilly these days here in our country. As a matter of fact, I am down with cough and colds. The cough has been with me for almost a month now. Maybe I should really protect my body from the cold weather especially when I go outside.

My fifteen year old daughter

It will be my daughter’s JS prom this February 14! I am so excited. I will buy a cocktail dress for her and a six inch heeled shoes! When she learned about it, she was shocked! Well, she still prefers her hip hop clothes and if only she can wear them at the Junior-Senior prom night, huh!

Am I getting that old already? My eldest is now fifteen.

Music and youth

Have I mentioned that it is my birthday today? Yes, time to party! Oh, I could still remember my last birthday party with lots of dancing and music. We rented a mobile during that time. Well, their sound was good as they had mackie cfx16! Everybody had a great time! Oh, the joy of youth and music–it jives!

What about today? Oh, having a family of your own changes your perspective, right? We just ate out. :) Still, happy birthday to me.

Circle of life

My Mom is with my sister already. Because of that, my sister and I had a misunderstanding. Painful words were spoken and somehow we are not in the speaking terms. All of us are trying to be good children, I suppose but at the expense of whom and who shall benefit, right?

I told my sister that all of us should be responsible for our mother. It is a very long novel why we are quite detached to our Mom. Well, not to wash our dirty laundry in public anymore, I guess…

Anyways, I just sent my Mom to my eldest sister. She has our brother and Mom now. I know I did not do my end of the bargain. But, it is family first, I guess. I was caught up between my own family and my Mom. My kids do not like their grandmother. I and my husband found it difficult to get along with her as well.

Now, maybe my sister is right about saving for old age. Our future grandchildren and even our kids’ future spouses might not like us as well.

Fancy and decorative

I am thinking of a good peace offering to my sister. I went to the mall and I could not find anything fancy. Well, I want something unique. Then, I remembered, they are renovating their house. I will give her decorative switch plate covers! My sister liked what we have in our own house and asked me to buy some for her before. Now is the best time! I am sure that she will accept my peace offering!

Futuristic Mom

For my birthday, I am asking my husband to buy a new van for me. My sister also told me to check a 5th wheel warranty. Well, first things first. An insurance is very important especially nowadays that you can’t be too sure what will happen along the way, right? Well, I hope to get my new van. That is in preparation for summer. I am planning for a road trip for the family. The kids are growing up and it is high time that we collect good memories together that they can bring when they are already on their own. Oh, the futuristic Mom in me.

Create Good Memories

This Christmas was extra special because my Mom is with us. We felt that she was happy or happier. We thank God that we have this time to spend with her.

We had the usual opening of gifts before midnight as we ate the Christmas feast at exactly December 25 00:00 A.M. Mom was very happy to receive two mexican blankets from my parents in law. Yes, they get along well. Mom was quite shy because it was her first time to have Christmas with us and with my in laws too!

Christmas is really family time. Create good memories for the Season.

Lunch Write

Here am I spending my lunch break writing. Non-work related, at least, thus I am still taking a break! Instead of lunch break, I am having lunch write! Well, I am just in the mood for writing. I have to take advantage of it if I want my blogs to be alive. I received warnings from advertisers that to keep the membership, content is a must. Oh, I know that all along. In the first place, the reason why I wanted to blog is to first and foremost express myself and at least use the talent that I think I have—writing

Additional headcount

An additional head count? It is stressful in the budget, I guess. Especially if that one head is equals to three!

I mentioned that we have our Mom and my brother living with us already. It is a family decision. Our Mom is old and we have to take care of her. Actually, she is just turning 60 but she is sickly already. Maybe because of the lack of nutrition as she preferred to live alone before because of too many reasons.

Anyways, I am quite stressed out lately as I was not really prepared for it. I sent my brother to my eldest sister since it is the actual arrangement. She will have our brother then I will have our Mom.

My Sister sends money for my Mom’s food allowance but still, I am having a hard time making both ends meet. My Mom has some demands. I texted my Sister and she told me that I should not give in to all of our Mom’s requests. I just need to give her the basics like food and shelter and most of all, love.

Anyways, I am sure that everything will be fine soon. The previous 30 days or so was quite exhausting that there are additional two heads in our budget. Now, only one as our brother is with my Sister already.

I know, I should not worry this much. God will provide.
